It´s 11pm local time and we are getting ready to go to bed. We had a very uneventful travel day which is always a blessing. No problems with the flights, no lost luggage...very smooth. I (Tim)had to suffer in First Class all the way to El Salvador (when you join the team late and the plane is full, you got to find a seat somewhere!). We were able to meet up with John and Diane Crews in Houston and flew with them into El Salvador. We had opportunities to pray with the ticket agent this morning at Reagan Airport and praying for her nephew. We also prayed with a Catholic priest in Houston who will be heading up a parish of 40, 000 folks here in the western part of El Salvador. We prayed for a spirit of unity in working together to further the cause of Christ. It has been good to gather as a team and pray together and we look forward to more opportunities to go before the Lord each day. We ate dinner at McDonald´s tonight here in El Salvador. The hotel we´re staying at is simple and clean for the most part so we should be able to get some rest tonight and be ready to minister at the deaf school in Sonsonata.
Please pray for a good day of ministry tomorrow as we meet the kids and staff at the deaf school. Praise the Lord again for safety as we travelled and for the encounters we had in the airports and on the flights! More updates to come later on! God Bless!
